Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana is a financial inclusion program of the Government of India open to Indian citizens that aims to expand affordable access to financial services such as bank accounts, remittances, credit, insurance and pensions.

 This financial inclusion campaign was launched by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on 28 August 2014. He had announced this scheme in his first Independence Day speech on 15 August 2014. PERFORMANCE: Due to the preparations done in the run-up, as mentioned above, on the inauguration day, 15 million bank accounts were opened. The Prime Minister said on this occasion- "Let us celebrate today as the day of financial freedom." By September 2014, 30.2 million accounts were opened with State Bank of India 2.99 million accounts, Canara Bank 1.621 million accounts, Central Bank of India 1.598 million accounts and Bank of Baroda with 1.422 million accounts. On 20 January 2015, the scheme entered into the Guinness book of world records setting a new record for 'The most bank accounts opened in one week. PMJDY scheme is known to most of the people. 40% of the people knew it through Bank officials and is followed by Friends & Relatives with 21%. 66% of the people have opened the accounts under the scheme. While interacting with these people they were having savings account which were opened earlier. Most of the respondents have their accounts with State Bank of India. 58% of the respondents have opened the accounts under the scheme to avail savings facility. 55% of the respondents are related to the agriculture sector. 59% of the respondents have opened the accounts under this scheme by producing Aadhaar & Ration card at the banks. CONCLUSION: PMJDY is the most effective scheme and most beneficial scheme of the central government. Its major ambition is to give the financial facility directly from government. is scheme is make the benchmarking achievement but also create the awareness then only the objective "Sab Ka Sath SabKa Vikas" is fulfil. .

MOIL Buyback 2021

MOIL was originally set up in the year 1896 as Central Province Prospecting Syndicate which was later renamed as Central Provinces Manganese Ore Company Limited (CPMO), a British Company incorporated in the UK. In 1962, as a result of an agreement between the Government of India and CPMO, the assets of the latter were taken over by the Government and MOIL was formed with 51% capital held between the Govt. of India and the State Governments of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh and the balance 49% by CPMO.
